Municipal de Ipurua
The Municipal de Ipurua stadium was inaugurated on September 14, 1947 and currently it has a capacity of 7.000 spectators. It is located in Eibar, very close to the center, on Ipurua Kalea street next to the AP-8 motorway.
The stadium is certified by UEFA and apart from hosting La Liga and Copa del Rey matches of SD Eibar, it has also hosted matches with European teams such as Eibar vs Ajax in 1990 (to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club) or Eibar vs Celtic in 2015, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary.

The Sociedad Deportiva Eibar, better known as Eibar, was founded on January 1, 1940 in Eibar, in the Basque Country. José Eulogio Gárate, Xabi Alonso, Pedro León, David Silva and Sergi Enrich are some of the most outstanding players in the history of the club.
